We are currently hiring a Manager, Salesforce based in our Head Office in Burnaby, reporting to the VP, Applications & Infrastructure.

As a Manager, Salesforce, you will lead the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of BCAA’s Salesforce platform. You will oversee a cross-functional team of architects, developers, business analysts, and Salesforce administrators, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions aligned with business priorities.

This role is responsible for bridging technical execution with business strategy, driving agile delivery practices, and enabling teams to deliver value in a predictable and efficient manner. You will also play a key role in shaping platform roadmaps, optimizing team performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Once you’re here you’ll:

  • Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives.

  • Function as a Scrum Master and direct delivery teams to enable efficient, predictable flow of work.

  • Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to shape product vision, backlog priorities, and roadmap planning.

  • Drive agile delivery practices, ensuring work is visible and value is delivered consistently and reliably.

  • Remove impediments and support teams in resolving issues that impact delivery, performance, and team effectiveness.

  • Leverage GenAI tools to build code.

  • Oversee the design and development of solutions for new and existing systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

  • Contribute subject matter expertise to architecture discussions and support short- and long-term platform roadmaps.

  • Ensure alignment of solutions with enterprise architecture, data standards, and application governance processes.

  • Promote best practices in coding, DevSecOps, automation, and the use of emerging technologies including AI.

  • Establish and support production support frameworks to ensure responsiveness, ownership, and system reliability.

  • Oversee release planning and execution, including risk identification, mitigation planning, and post-release support.

  • Lead incident reviews and retrospectives, using insights to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring quality delivery, performance, and alignment with business expectations.

  • Support financial planning activities, including resource forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

  • Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum 6 years of technical experience in application development or platform delivery.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience leading and managing technical teams.

  • Strong experience in application architecture, solution design, and data modelling.

  • Proven experience leading development and solution delivery teams in agile environments.

  • Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or other agile delivery frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, automation, and modern delivery pipelines.

  • Experience supporting system design, development, testing, and release management processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives and deliver enterprise-level solutions.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to build structured processes, documentation, and best practices across teams.

  • Bonus Skills!

  • MBA or Master’s level degree.

  • Scrum Master or Agile certifications.

  • Experience in large, complex IT environments with multiple systems and stakeholders.

  • Expertise with Kanban and continuous delivery practices.

The salary range for this position is $130,000.00 to $165,000.00 per year and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 20%.

Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 on-site / 2 remote days). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
