Join a team recognized for innovation, excellence, and industry-leading service. We’re seeking an Internal Insurance Wholesaler to partner with top wholesaling professionals and drive growth in Manulife’s Retail Markets business—a leading provider of insurance and investment solutions for Canadian families. 

As an Internal Wholesaler, you’ll collaborate with External Wholesalers to manage a regional sales territory, strengthen advisor relationships, and uncover new opportunities to grow individual life and living benefits insurance sales. The ideal candidate is sales-driven, coachable, collaborative, and thrives in a competitive environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Pro-active outbound calling to financial advisors to develop, maintain and expand current advisor relationships and build new ones.

  • Meet outbound calls daily targets for “sales calls” and “meetings booked”.

  • Gather intelligence on an advisor’s practice through a question based selling model

  • Optimize delivery of value-added products, service and advice while enhancing sales efforts through consultation and demonstrating the merits of

  • Manulife products and services

  • Executing sales campaigns and determining who your top prospects are and creating a plan to execute on.

  • Using Salesforce.com to create and maintain advisor profiles and data on current and proposed activity and sharing business leads and ideas with peers. (10%)

  • Participate in a Manulife proprietary continuous training program;

Requirements

  • At least 2 years insurance/sales experience

  • Proven proactive sales success and experience cold calling

  • LLQP designation preferred (or in process)

  • College or University degree in related field or equivalent work experience

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, including intermediate level of experience using Excel

  • Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • Well-organized, self-starter with high energy and creativity

  • Innovative marketing and problem-solving skills

  • Excels in a collaborative and challenging environment with a strong desire to win

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
