We are currently hiring an HRIS Analyst based in our Head Office in Burnaby.
As an HRIS Analyst, you’ll play a key role in optimizing BCAA’s Workday platform to drive efficient, accurate, and insight-driven people processes. You’ll partner with stakeholders across the organization to design solutions, streamline workflows, and enhance system functionality. This role combines technical expertise with strategic insight, ensuring Workday continues to evolve with BCAA’s business needs and priorities.

What you’ll do:
Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday modules including HCM, Time Tracking, Payroll, Absence, Advanced Compensation, and Recruiting.
Collaborate with business leaders to assess needs, gather requirements, and recommend solutions that drive efficiency and accuracy.
Support Workday module implementations and system updates through testing, documentation, and communication.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Conduct ongoing analysis of business processes and identify opportunities for system and workflow improvements.
Provide user training, documentation, and support to ensure effective use of Workday functionality.
Monitor system updates, releases, and best practices to ensure BCAA maximizes the value of its HR technology ecosystem.
What you bring:
Diploma in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of experience working with and configuring Workday HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and related modules.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data.
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills and strong documentation abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Strong organizational and project management skills with a focus on continuous improvement and confidentiality.

The hourly range for this position is $50.10/hr to $62.63/hr and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
Please note that this is a temporary contract role until the end of June 2027. This role is also a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 on-site / 2 remote days). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
