We are currently hiring an Automotive Operations Coordinator based in our Burnaby Fleet Depot, reporting to the Director, Road Assist Fleet and Partners.
As an Automotive Operations Coordinator, you will assist with providing relationship care to over 140 Fleet Technicians and remote fleet technicians, by coordinating new drivers onboarding activities, redirecting member escalations, and field service support. You will also support the Team Lead, Automotive Partner Operation by acting as the primary backup by handling sensitive and confidential information in the creation of contractual agreements, updating contractor rates and supporting the Contract Partner Portal on the Salesforce – Field Service platform.

What you’ll do:
Assisting with ensuring the safety of the Road Assist fleet by sourcing, ordering, and stocking of PPE (personal protection equipment) and other fleet supplies.
Organizing monthly Driver Engagement and Manager meetings and record notes.
Organizing employee events, retirements, partner conferences, seminars, training activities, negotiating vendor contracts and budgeting.
Solicit and secure sponsors for the bi-annual Tow Partner Trade Show to offset the bi-annual conference budget.
Supports and assists with new technology launches (ie. Salesforce), training, administration, and documentation or hardware across our internal fleet team and external contract partners.
Provides support in processing various reports and documents for leadership. These documents could be sensitive in nature and involve confidential fleet information, which is expected to remain confidential.
Prepare reports, newsletters and be a communicator for any relevant updates or information.
What you bring:
A minimum of 5 years in the Automotive industry.
Completed a Diploma in Business Administration, Communication, or Business Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience with account management and negotiating.
Proven ability to take complex Ideas and articulate clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Office 365 tools).
The salary range for this position is $62,274.60 to $77,843.16 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 9%.
Please note that this is an onsite position based out of our Burnaby Depot (5590 Goring Street). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Burnaby Depot or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
