HUB International is seeking an accomplished Assistant Vice President (AVP) to lead our Private Client Group (PCG) within the Personal Insurance Division. Based in Toronto, this senior leader will drive team performance, deliver revenue growth, and ensure a market-leading service experience for our High-Net-Worth clients.
You’ll lead a team of personal insurance associates and managers while driving a high-performance culture rooted in boutique client service, proactive portfolio management, and sales growth.
What You’ll Do
Lead and develop the PCG team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning to ensure exceptional client service and team engagement.

Drive new business growth and client retention, actively managing sales pipelines, setting sales targets, and coaching the team on opportunity development and cross-selling strategies.

Own service delivery standards, ensuring the PCG team consistently provides high-touch, white-glove service to High-Net-Worth clients through consistent workflow execution and quality assurance.

Collaborate with executive leadership on the strategic direction of the PCG business, identifying growth opportunities, service enhancements, and regional expansion strategies.

Oversee operational performance, using data and reporting tools to monitor productivity, service metrics, and revenue trends, and act on areas of opportunity.

Act as a key relationship manager with insurance carrier partners to negotiate, collaborate on product offerings, and enhance value for HUB clients.

The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure, i.e., base salary plus commission. As such, the total compensation earned will vary depending on the successful candidate’s book of business at a particular time. The expected base salary for this position is $100,000 to $120,000, plus commissions will be paid based on successful sales performance. The total compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses for some positions.
