MIM’s GRE team leverages its global platform and regional market knowledge to identify opportunities and drive results for its clients. As of December 31, 2025, its sustainably operated platform includes 98 million square feet of office, industrial, retail, and multifamily assets located across Canada, the United States, and the Asia Pacific region, with approximately $20 billion USD of real estate (500+ properties). The team is expanding its capabilities to meet evolving market opportunities, building a strong and diverse global culture as an entrepreneurial investment manager.
MIM is seeking an Analyst, Asset Management, Western Canada to play a key role within the growing platform. The Asset Management team is responsible for creating and driving the business plans for assets across the portfolios of MIM’s clients. The Analyst is responsible for complex financial modeling and analysis, production of investment memoranda, and supporting asset management and transactions teams. The Analyst will work closely with an Asset Manager on leasing, property management, capital projects, and valuations, while gaining exposure to the Transactions and Capital Markets teams through dispositions and refinancings of assets within the region. This role requires an individual who can bring enthusiasm each day to the workplace and demonstrates an ability to handle workload management and can perform during high pressure situations related to deadlines. The position reports directly to a Director, Asset Management, Western Canada.
Position Responsibilities:
Support asset-level business plans and valuation models
Support Asset Manager in oversight of leasing, property management, and capital projects
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree is required, preferably in finance, accounting, real estate finance or business administration, or sufficient work experience.
1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of real estate investment, asset management, accounting and administration concepts.
Ability to integrate top-down and bottom-up perspectives into investment recommendations.
Capable of managing competing priorities and maintaining strong attention to detail under deadlines.
Superior analytical and critical thinking skills (both quantitative and qualitative).
Able to successfully work in a team-oriented environment and partner with different functional groups.
Demonstrated leadership skills and a strong sense of ownership.
Strong work ethic, a high level of integrity, and the desire to take initiative.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Effective customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, time management and priority setting skills.
Focused and self-motivated teammate who balances independent thinking with the execution capabilities and core proficiencies of the rest of the organization.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, creation of templates) and Argus Enterprise. Experience with real estate accounting systems required, experience with Yardi a plus.
Some travel may be required.

Salary range is expected to be between
$85,000.00 CAD - $135,000.00 CADEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
