Salary range (but not limited to):

80,700 - 98,700

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

We’re looking for a Unit Manager, Facilities, to join our growing team!

 

Location: Laval, 600 rue Lucien-Paiement (on site 5 days/week)

What you’ll do here:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Facilities team at the Laval office and related sites, and support business operations.

  • Supervise and mentor the team, act as the main point of contact for communicating information to the building and facilities manager.

  • Drive team performance and support employee growth and engagement.

  • Oversee the work of the team responsible for managing facilities-related requests.

  • Help the manager implement, monitor and strengthen Intact’s security policies and protocols in your area of activity.

  • Review, update and improve business processes to support operational excellence.

  • Collaborate with people at all levels of the organization to analyze their requests and suggest solutions that meet their needs while respecting priorities, policies and the strategic budget.

  • Manage administrative support staff or call centre personnel. Use allocated resources to achieve the team’s performance objectives and results.

  • Make decisions based on broadly defined policies, procedures and business plans. Assign and coordinate the team’s work and oversee day-to-day operations.


What you bring to the table:

  • At least three to five years of experience in a similar position.

  • Customer-driven.

  • Ability to work with thoroughness and integrity.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Focus on excellence.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of commonly used software, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook), Internet Explorer.

  • Knowledge of the real estate and building management fields, an asset.

  • Manual skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills in English and French.

  • [Bilingualism (English-French)] – You will be answering calls and providing services to English-speaking customers on a regular basis. 

  • No Canadian work experience is required; however, you must be eligible to work in Canada.
