Support Services Associate (Temporary, Full-time)

Duration: June - August

Location: Peterborough, ON

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay: $21.85 per hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Summer Student to support data quality, records administration, and member account maintenance activities. This role offers hands-on experience in document management, data cleanup, quality control, and member outreach while contributing to important operational and integration-related work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review daily remote deposit reports, identify exceptions, and flag potential fraud indicators.
  • Index and re-index digital lending and records files to improve document accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support file cleanup activities across document repositories and centralized branch records.
  • Assist with product, account, and member data cleanup activities in preparation for system integration and ongoing quality improvement.
  • Validate and correct physical and legal address information  and other member data discrepancies on our banking system.
  • Analyze inactive or abandoned memberships and support related maintenance activities.
  • Supporting our Sole proprietorship and partnership conversions to Organization structure on our banking system, prepare documentation to support the changes and update banking system
  • Conduct outreach calls to members regarding inactive accounts, following established procedures and service standards.

Qualifications Required:

  •  High school diploma or GED Equivalent
  •  Enrollment in a post secondary program
  •  Prior document management experience would be an asset
  •  Experience making outbound calls to customers/clients is an asset
  •  Possess knowledge with windows, excel, general office equipment and electronic mail
  •  The successful candidate will be a team player who is patient and has an attention to detail
