As a Software Developer - CRM, reporting to the CRM Manager, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining CRM platform solutions. This role works closely with system analysts, QA analysts, business platform owners, and enterprise functions such as Risk, Privacy, and Information Security to ensure CRM systems meet business requirements and deliver value. The Developer enables cross-functional teams to deliver working software/code in iterative cycles, focusing on robust enhancements, automation opportunities, and high-quality deliverables.

What You'll be Doing: 

  • Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement CRM platform enhancements and new features, ensuring scalability, reliability, and usability.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA analysts to develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Support defect identification, documentation, and resolution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with system analysts and other developers to validate requirements, review solution designs, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Agile Delivery Participation: Actively participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives), contributing to backlog refinement and sprint execution
  • Risk & Compliance Coordination: Engage with Risk, Privacy, and Information Security teams to ensure CRM solutions comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve CRM development processes, system usability, and team efficiency. Promote best practices and support change management activities.
  • Sponsor Communication: Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of development progress, issues, and results

What you Bring: 

Experience and Education:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivelant experience recognized.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce) in technical developer capacity.
  • Salesforce experience and certifications required.
  • Experience with Financial Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud Voice, Agentforce, Tabeleau, APEX, and Lightening Web Components considered an asset.
  • Preference for experience with Genesys integration

Other Role Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first environment, with occasional in-person sessions as required.
  • Willingness to support special projects, branch/department needs, and adapt to changing business priorities, including possible changes in hours, location, or travel.
