Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

The Senior Manager, Sustainable Wealth Management Products will support and accelerate the growth of our wealth management products business. This is an opportunity to shape and define a new role with meaningful ownership and impact by delivering on product leadership, execution excellence, and strategic direction across the product portfolio.

This role is ideal for a senior individual contributor who thrives at the intersection of strategy and delivery in a dynamic, collaborative environment - someone who can set a roadmap, drive initiatives end-to-end, and partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to bring ideas to market. While this role does not have direct people management responsibility, it carries significant ownership, influence, and visibility across the organization.

You will apply strong product management discipline to sustainable wealth - translating member needs, data, and responsible investing principles into clear strategies and requirements, prioritized roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. You will balance performance, risk, and impact across the product lifecycle to ensure sustainable wealth solutions are well-designed, scalable, and deliver long-term value for members, employees, and the organization.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a hybrid working arrangement which can be fulfilled primarily from either the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. In this role, you will report to the Director, Products and Pricing - Retail Banking and Sustainable Wealth Management.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Model a growth mindset as an individual contributor able to deliver on results
  • Defining and driving sustainable wealth product strategy and prioritized roadmaps informed by stakeholder input, member and advisor needs, market insights, and data, while balancing performance, risk, and impact
  • Owning and evolving the sustainable wealth product portfolio, with accountability for performance, adoption, regulatory compliance, and long-term value creation
  • Partnering with peers and senior leaders to identify and execute opportunities to grow and improve the portfolio across member impact, risk, technology, innovation, scale, and revenue
  • Establishing, embedding, and continuously evolving strong product management practices into the wealth business
  • Diving into execution details when needed to unblock progress and ensure high-quality, member-centric outcomes

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management and Wealth/Asset Management, along with a post-secondary degree in a related field
  • One or more relevant professional certifications, such as Product Management, CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst), CIM (Canadian Investment Manager)
  • Proven experience of owning product strategy and strong track record of delivering results.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management products (e.g., investment solutions, platforms, responsible investing approaches, advisory solutions, and emerging trends).
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without formal authority.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication & presentation skills.
  • Proven experience delivering and managing Wealth products within complex, enterprise, and multi-vendor technology environments
  • Deep knowledge of product risk management, including regulatory considerations across the product lifecycle
  • Ability to translate ambiguity into clear direction, priorities, and action
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups

Bonus points, if you have:

  • Certification in Business Analysis
  • A Masters’ Degree
  • Familiarity with product management frameworks and Agile Delivery models.

  • Strong in driving accountability across cross-functional teams to ensure milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met, even in ambiguous or evolving environments.
  • You build strong relationships with stakeholders. Collaboration and communication are at the core of how you operate.
  • You have the planning, project management, and decision-making skills needed to manage a complex portfolio with a broad stakeholder group.
  • You are a critical thinker and can lead through influence to build strong teams, drive successful product development, and deliver value to our members.

What You’ll Earn:

This role offers a salary range of $116,500 - $140,000. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
