Tandia Financial (Tandia) is seeking an Member Success/Sales Associate to join our Member Solutions Center (call center) team in Ancaster, Ontario. This is a permanent full-time position. This posting is for an existing vacancy and the expected starting rate is $30.90.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Manager, Member Solutions Centre, this position markets all of Tandia's products and services ensuring that members’ needs are efficiently met. This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently taking credit applications that come in via our various delivery channels. This position is the primary source for actively soliciting new business by following up on all member contacts generated and promote, up-sell and cross-sell the full range of lending and investment products to meet the growth targets of Tandia Financial at every opportunity. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts to increase member wallet share to reach annual business plan targets required through the corporate budget process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible to identify opportunities to promote, up-sell and cross-sell Tandia's investment products including: savings accounts, term deposits, and registered plans.
  • Efficiently interview members to promote, up-sell and cross-sell consumer loans, mortgages, lines of credit and credit cards.
  • Responsible for referring comprehensive financial planning needs of members to a member of the Wealth Management Team.
  • Responsible for implementing activities to actively promote and cross-sell the products and services of Tandia Financial through personal contact telephone marketing.
  • Responsible to complete assigned outbound calling to achieve Tandia Financial assigned projects such as term renewals, age benefit updates, and others as assigned.
  • Responsible to interpret and apply Tandia procedures and policies to ensure compliance.
  • Responsible to complete all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 - 3  years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma; Undergraduate degree or equivalent is an asset.
  • Strong sales acumen.
  • Proficient organizational and time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A go-getter who can exercise initiative and be detailed oriented to handle several tasks and changing priorities. 
  • A strong communicator with established customer experience skills who can connect both verbally and in writing.
