We are looking for a Manager, Process Excellence, to lead a team of specialists in driving end-to-end process improvement initiatives. This role partners with business leaders to deliver practical, sustainable, and audit-ready solutions, while embedding change and ensuring long-term value. The ideal candidate champions continuous improvement by leveraging data, modern methodologies, and technologies such as automation and AI to enhance efficiency and enterprise performance.

You would…

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Process Excellence Specialists to deliver high-quality process analysis, documentation, and improvement initiatives.
  • Build team capability in Lean, Six Sigma, journey thinking, facilitation, and change adoption.
  • Serve as the lead decision-maker for process ownership, standards, and governance, ensuring enterprise-wide alignment and accountability.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the enterprise process governance framework, including templates, operating models, and standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee intake, evaluation, and prioritization of process change requests, assessing risk, benefit, and cross-process impact.
  • Ensure all processes comply with regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements, maintaining accurate and current documentation.
  • In partnership with business units, lead enterprise process optimization initiatives, facilitating current-state and future-state mapping exercises across business units.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for efficiency, risk reduction, and member or employee experience improvement.
  • Track and measure process performance, ensuring changes deliver measurable operational and financial value.
  • Integrate AI, automation, and digital tools into process improvement initiatives where appropriate to enhance efficiency.
  • Support handoff activities, including training, communications, task assignment, and knowledge transfer.
  • Define, track, and report on key process KPIs and value realization metrics.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reporting to provide visibility into process performance and improvement outcomes.
  • Ensure process improvements deliver measurable and sustainable value and use insights to guide continuous improvement priorities.
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams to solve complex operational challenges.
  • Advocate for standardization and consistency in processes while balancing flexibility for local operational needs.

You have…

  • Successfully completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience in process improvement, enterprise operations, or business transformation initiatives, including at least two to three years in a leadership role, preferably within a financial institution or complex enterprise environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

  • A proven leader in process optimization, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • A strong coach, mentor, and work to develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledgeable of process analysis, documentation, Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, journey mapping, and change adoption practices.
