Salary range (but not limited to):
138,500 - 169,300Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager of Data Architecture and Artificial Intelligence for the Intact Lab to lead a team of architects working closely with cross-functional product teams to achieve the organization's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing architecture teams with specific knowledge related to data management, as well as artificial intelligence initiatives, particularly generative and agentic AI. Furthermore, the candidate demonstrates a strong propensity for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
What you’ll do here:
Lead and cultivate a high-performing team of architects, focusing on talent acquisition, engagement, and professional development.
Continuously advance architectural practices related to data management and artificial intelligence by exploring emerging analytical frameworks, techniques and tools in collaboration with your team.
Implement and enhance tools and processes to empower and increase the effectiveness of the team, while providing necessary training and guidance.
Support and accompany teams in exploring potential uses of AI technologies and data management by providing advice, guidance, and technical support.
Maintain a good balance between project needs and resource development through wise human resource planning.
Foster strong stakeholder relationships through clear and strategic communication, ensuring alignment within multidisciplinary teams.
Coordinate activities and dependencies between different project teams, manage risks, propose mitigation measures, and communicate key project performance indicators.
Ensure solutions meet customer expectations and comply with security and governance standards while optimizing impacts and infrastructure requirements.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field.
At least 10 years of practical experience, including 3 to 5 years leading a team specialized in AI projects and data management for model training and deployment.
Strong leadership skills, with intellectual curiosity and willingness to align technical expertise with business needs to create value.
Experience mentoring and developing a team of architects.
Mastery of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and understanding of AI operations frameworks.
Excellent knowledge of machine learning operations (MLOps), AI/Generative AI (GenAI) models, and Agentic AI.
Understanding of data governance concepts and data quality management.
Team player who fosters collaboration and creativity in an open and honest environment.
Passionate about talent development.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Comfortable in constantly evolving complex environments and within multidisciplinary teams.
Change agent, motivated to challenge the status quo.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
