Assiniboine Credit Union is hiring for the position of a permanent Full-Time Manager, Business Analysis to work at the PMO & Integration department.
About this opportunity:
- This role requires to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- This role will be an hybrid position: some days working from home, and other days at the Head Office (540 St Anne's Rd, Winnipeg MB, R2M 5R7).

ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Vice President, Project Management & Business Integration, the Manager, Business Analysis provides strategic and operational leadership to a team of Business Analysts. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective business analysis governance, methodologies, and documentation standards to support consistent, compliant, and high-quality delivery across the organization.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Leadership
- Lead, develop and retain a high performing team through meaningful coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
- Partner with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and effectively allocate team resources
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure business analysis practices reflect ACU’s values, regulatory expectations, and commitment to continuous improvement philosophy.

- Ensure the team members have the tools and resources required to deliver highâquality business analysis services

Strategy & Operations
- Establish and maintain business analysis governance frameworks that support consistency, quality, and compliance across all initiatives.
- Develop, update and implement business analysis methodologies, tools, templates that support regulatory readiness, audit requirements, and digital-transformation objectives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of standardized business analysis processes, ensuring they remain accessible, user-friendly and aligned with organization priorities.
- Provide guidance on complex initiatives, ensuring business analysis outputs support robust decision-making, risk mitigation, and compliance with industry regulatory standards.
- Partner with business units, IT/Digital, and external vendors to ensure business analysis services support operational effectiveness, member experience, and ACU’s strategic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business analysis processes, and drive improvements that strengthen efficiency, consistency, and user experience.
- Support inclusive stakeholder engagement and effective change management practices to enable successful adoption of new systems, processes, and technology across ACU.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement across PMO and organizational processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
The competencies for this position would typically be acquired through completing a post-secondary degree/or diploma in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in business analysis, including at least three (3) years in management or team leadership role. Professional certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) required. Previous experience within the financial services industry or a similarly regulated environment is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

- Experience in business process redesign, requirements management, and stakeholder engagement across diverse groups.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to build trust, influence decisions, and navigate sensitive or complex discussions.
- Experience leading project planning, execution, and project delivery; Proficient in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) is an asset.
- Strong understanding of IT/Digital systems, automation and emerging technologies relevant to business transformation.
- Ability to lead and support organization-wide adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and design scalable, compliant and sustainable improvements.
