Loans Administrator

FULL-TIME POSITION – ROSENORT BRANCH

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Loans Clerk to join our Lending team and provide support to our Account Managers. Responsibilities:
·        Provide loan administrative support to the Loans Department.
·        Ensure all assigned lending activities are in compliance with legislations, regulations, policies and procedures.
·        Perform daily checks on of a variety of loan reports
·        Ensure the completion of selected documentation by obtaining and recording basic member information
·        Conduct PPSA investigations and handle credit inquiries from other institutions.
·        Conduct credit investigations with other financial institutions and Credit Bureau.
·        Assist in the preparation of monthly reports (i.e. overdraft reports, monthly loan delinquency reports, etc.).
·        Adhere to legislation and security procedures as they pertain to the position.
·        Maintain loan files and related documentation for the Loans Department.
·        Perform routine loan audits as directed; review system-generated loan reports, identify further action required to address problem area; initiate action in accordance with established procedures.
·        Records and follows-up on outstanding deficiencies in loan documentation and conditions, and ensures outstanding deficiencies have been adequately resolved and has the ability to escalate issues of non-compliance

You will have:
·        One year post-secondary training plus one to three years of job related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
·        A self-motivated attitude with a pleasant demeanor, be highly organized, have strong computer skills, and possess a confident ability to work independently while still remaining a team player.
·        Experience with CGI or RFS360 banking system would be preferred;
·        A detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and a strong work ethic;
·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
·        A confident ability to work independently while remaining a team player;
·        Interest in pursuing a career in either Accounting/Administration or Account Management

Salary and benefits:
The salary is based on the qualifications of the selected candidate and will be within the credit union grading system. A comprehensive benefits package will also be provided.
