Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Systems Analyst Intern to join our team. As a Systems Analyst Intern, you will assist the Accord IT team with day-to-day support of the existing cloud (AZURE) and legacy architecture. The IT Intern will perform day to day maintenance on the Azure platform including user management, leveraging of PowerShell scripts and Power Bi/Power Automate to produce reports and automate processes. This is a role which will allow the successful candidate to leverage skills obtained while studying to put into practice. Must have the ability to work on tasks with sufficient instruction and documentation of completed tasks. This will be a hybrid role where there is an expectation of being in the office 1 day a week in midtown Toronto (Yonge and Eglinton Transit hub area)
Primary Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with IT team in creating Power Bi/Power Automate to create dashboards.
· Participate in requirement gathering to create automation flows leveraging Power Automate for SharePoint, OneDrive or other related applications
· Assist in management of all Accord platforms using PowerShell (Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, network management)
· Assist with Management of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), device policies, security policies, defining Autopilot policies
· Coordinate with service providers, MSPs, vendors, SaaS platforms, etc. to resolve end user incidents when required
· Hands on technical tasks including but not limited to user administration (authentication and authorization), information security management, cloud (MS Azure) configuration, physical components support.
· Assist with the creation/maintenance of support documentation,
· Assist with the maintenance technical knowledge base.
Skills & Requirements:
· Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Computer Networking Systems, Computer Science, Computer Technology System Diplomas/Degrees.
· Preferred experience in the following areas
o MS Technologies including but not limited to Azure, Active Directory, Azure AD, SharePoint, M365
o Network technologies (DHCP, DNS, VPN, IPsec)
o PowerShell : understanding in Azure environment
o Power Bi : experience with creating reports with Power Bi, querying data from multiple data sources
o Power Automate
o Infrastructure and network management
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Ability to balance maintainability, sustainability and practicality.
· Ability to work effectively independently (self-starter) as well as within a team environment.
