Saskatchewan Blue Cross®, one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers, is currently recruiting for a full-time permanent Individual Service Support to join our team in the Individual Sales department. This position offers the flexibility to be in-office or participate in hybrid options in our Saskatoon or Regina office.
JOB FUNCTION
If you are passionate about working in a team atmosphere and providing day-to-day service support to ensure a smooth and effective operation of the Individual Sales Department, then we’re looking for you! Reporting directly to the Team Lead, Individual Sales, the Individual Service Support will collaborate to manage shifting priorities in a high volume, fast-paced work environment, driven by deadlines. This role will collaborate with various roles and functions within the department to provide support where required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Individual Sales inbox by responding to member inquiries, including investigations, escalations, problem resolution, and delegation of tasks to other team members/departments
- Work in a team environment to ensure service and sales are executed effectively
- Remain current with product knowledge and services while being adaptable to industry changes
- Provide clients with a positive customer experience by responding, coordinating, and effectively resolving inquiries or service challenges
- Review and update Individual Sales collateral including manuals, procedures, and training materials
- Provide back up support to the team during peak periods
- Provide administrative support to the team by:
- Manually entering customer information
- Creating and verifying customer communication
- Tracking data
- Creating and maintaining reports, procedures, and documentation
- Developing communication tools as required
- Preparing scheduled reporting for internal and external partners
- Generating client lists and sales summaries
- Act as intermediary between departments in receiving, responding, and distributing various correspondence
- Adhere to established procedures and strict confidentiality guidelines
- Update and maintain records in the Customer Relationship Management system, compiling and verifying information
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments in the completion of daily job tasks
- Support related department projects
- Support the management of Individual Sales Inquiries and follow up on administrative requests
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Business Administration Certificate would be considered an asset
- Experience in the insurance industry or 1-2 years’ experience in an office environment would be considered an asset
- Strong technical skills and a working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and Outlook with a proven ability to easily learn new software and CRM programs
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical ability, with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and frequent deadlines
- Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must be service oriented and responsive to our members and partners
- Commitment to ongoing personal development
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
- Legally entitled to work in Canada on an unrestricted basis
- Criminal Record and background check satisfactory to Saskatchewan Blue Cross
