This role will be based in Western Canada.
Reporting to the Cyber Development Leader, the primary role of the Cyber Development Manager is to support initiatives across our national partnerships, execute strategic engagement with key, developing and new broker partnerships and training/education.
The role will require travel across Canada, with a concentration on western Canada, and will have a heavy focus on our fast-growing Canadian broker partnerships. You will be required to work closely with the Development Leader to action the cyber sales strategy. You will also collaborate and coordinate with distribution.
About the role
Although the role will not be directly responsible for underwriting, it will require close interaction with the underwriters to ensure that messaging is aligned with underwriting strategy and to gain insight on day-to-day interactions amongst our underwriters and broker partners. It will equally require regular engagement with marketing, distribution and our cyber threat analysis team.
You'll be:

Driving pipeline generation and supporting underwriters to achieve new business targets

Managing and growing broker relationships across Western Canada

Identifying and attending key regional insurance and cyber-related events

Building CFC’s cyber profile and brand presence in the region

Delivering presentations and training sessions, both in person and virtually

Collaborating with Marketing and Distribution to develop sales and broker-facing materials

Maintaining a strong understanding of competitors and market dynamics

Identifying and contributing to new go-to-market strategies for cyber

Working closely with underwriting teams to ensure alignment with underwriting strategy
About you
You’ll have a solid grounding in broking or underwriting cyber as a fast‑moving and evolving class of business. You enjoy building relationships, spotting opportunities and having commercial conversations that add real value for broker partners.
You’re comfortable working autonomously in a remote role, but you’re also someone who enjoys collaborating closely with underwriting, marketing and distribution colleagues. You’re organised, proactive and resilient, able to juggle priorities and keep momentum in a role that’s externally focused and travel‑heavy.
You communicate clearly and confidently, whether that’s in one‑to‑one broker conversations or delivering presentations and training sessions. Above all, you’re a team player with energy, curiosity and the drive to help grow CFC’s cyber presence across Western Canada.
