The Associate Data & Reporting Analyst contributes by enhancing and maintaining the ongoing operational and BAU tasks. You design (with support) and autonomously deliver data and reporting solutions that will help drive operational efficiency by ongoing examination of data and reporting workflows. You understand insurance business domain and ensure your own tasks contribute to meeting the business objectives. You communicate findings to colleagues and managers in an effective manner. With guidance from your manager, you communicate findings to a business audience.
How you will create impact:
- Execute regularly scheduled operational and BAU tasks and processes
- Develop and/or update data and reporting process documentation
- Monitor, document and respond to ad-hoc and support requests and ensure the issue and resolution are accurate, complete and to the client’s satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough testing and reconciliation practices on data and metrics
- Support in the development of new data and reporting workflows with guidance from senior peers
- Able to work with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for Data, Dashboard, and reporting needs.
To join our team:
- You have experience with descriptive analytics tools and languages (PowerBI, Execl, SQL, SAS, Python, R, etc)
- General knowledge of business operations tools (SalesForce, PolicyCentre, ClaimCentre, BillingCentre) is an asset.
- You have a post-secondary education.
- Strong communication, time management, problem solving and attention to detail skills.
- General P&C knowledge, specifically for home/property insurance is an asset.

Salary informationâ
Expected salary/hourly range $26.86 - $44.76
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
