We are looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our Welland branch — a relationship-driven insurance professional who knows that client loyalty is built through trust, expertise, and consistent follow-through. In this role, you are more than a policy administrator; you are a trusted advisor who helps individuals and families make confident, informed decisions about protecting what matters most. What does the Account Manager do?
As an Account Manager, you manage an assigned portfolio of personal lines clients, primarily auto, home, and travel insurance. You oversee an existing book of business and ensure every client interaction reinforces trust, accuracy, and value. This role is primarily focused on service and retention, centered on delivering exceptional client experience. In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships that strengthen retention.
- Conduct detailed coverage reviews to assess risk and evolving insurance needs.
- Recommend appropriate insurance solutions with clarity and transparency.
- Manage policy renewals proactively, ensuring coverage remains accurate and competitive.
- Prepare and present quotes to support informed client decisions.
- Guide clients through the claims process with professionalism and empathy.
- Identify cross-coverage opportunities that enhance client protection.
- Maintain organized, accurate documentation to support compliance and operational integrity.
- Collaborate with your Team Lead and colleagues to improve client outcomes.
- Stay current on market trends, underwriting changes, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the insurance industry.
- RIBO license.
- Experience with broker management systems (e.g., Power Broker).
- Post-secondary education in insurance, business, or related field is an asset.

- Salary Band 4: $56,000–$71,000
- Target Hiring Range $56,000 - $60,000*
